Reflective Essay
There are times that saying what
you feel about something is not enough and your soul would not be put to rest
unless you do something. One way to do that is to write and let your voice be
heard by millions. Though when people are writing they tend to have an “angry”
(aggressive) tone since they usually write when there is a pressing issue
around or they don’t agree with something that is circling around the world.
It's pretty simple actually
Degrees
of choices varies from one person to another whether be it from the simple
walking towards your wardrobe and choosing what clothes to wear up to choosing
to take up masters or taking up the job offer that was given to you. Sure there
are times that compromises can be made and both parties can be satisfied and no
one would lose much though that privilege is not always available in every
situation. Most of the time one side will have to make a sacrifice in order to
get things going or else both sides will suffer great losses.
Analyze and resolve
During
the late 1800’s the use and invention of machine started to grow rapidly. With
the use of these new machines, productivity and effectiveness of both workers
and materials skyrocketed. Everything seemed to be rainbows and cereals until
the workers started revolting and forming unions that wanted the capitalists or
owners of the companies to answer for the inhumane treatment towards their
workers.

Tired Yet?
A land ravaged by towering buildings
that is inhabited by weary individuals is called the Land of G. In the Land of
G there lived a boy named Sir James Marko Drake the Broken. People believed
that Sir James Marko was a very gifted child that he would not turn into one of
“them” (the weary inhabitants). He was able to smile even if everyone around
him looked as if they have all the problems in the world at their hands. Sir
James Marko was able to be productive that it equates to the productivity of a
young professional even though he is just eight years and three months old. He
was able to construct his own his own building and hospital that was both named
after his great grandfather, though all of that changed until the plague
infected him. This plague that enveloped and ravaged the Land of G has been a
problem since the start of the world. After the nameless plague hit Sir James
Marko the Land of G once again lost its glimmer of hope and another weary
individual was added to the “collection”.
The color blue is just blue and bananas are just bananas...sometimes
There are a lot of tendencies that people will over think and interpret things. True that sometimes this can't be really avoided since, maybe it is in our nature? Whatever the reason behind that there must be some "base level" on how people should understand things. Then again this would be very subjective since there can be numerous bases for people's comprehension about things. Nonetheless an individual should not be insensitive and ignorant when it comes to "common things".

Something about waiting
Waiting
could be a very gruelling process for some even if it proves very rewarding at
the “end”. Sometimes waiting too long would just waste your energy, resources
and more importantly time. Time wasted could not be “taken back” or re-used in
some sense unless someone builds a time machine then that would be great and
would it surely help, and pester, a lot of people. Nonetheless time machines
are still inexistent in our era so wasting one’s time could be considered a
grave fault. Sadly a lot of people tend to waste others time for various
reasons and excuses.

No you take it!
Who do we blame if you, or someone, makes a mistake? Well you usually have three options; God (or whoever is it your believe in that does not exist physically/you don't see with your bare eyes), those around you and yourself (which is the least "used"). So in which category do your blame fall on? It can be on the either three or a combination.
If all else fails people usually blame who is liable for all the happenings in an individual's life and that has something to do with their religion, for example God (which is someone I believe in). It's easier for one to blame who is not present and who can just "take it in and not mind at all" attitude. People blame these supreme beings, as dubbed by others, since their reason would be that is what their teachings said or what not. Maybe to some extent the teachings can be blamed but not every bit

What might have been?
I’m sure that some of us would want some things to change. Maybe
because you wanted to participate in that event, you wanted that night to go
well or just wanted that moment to be “perfect”. Sadly things ended in a pretty
low note or just not in a way that you wanted it to end. Though what if the predictable
“the opposite” happened, do you think that your life would still be the same or
at least would it make a big difference?
Think of it this way, you got what you wanted but how about
others? Do you think if you got what you want there would be no effect on
others? Often we become insensitive to the little when we do not get what we
want. For example your order in a restaurant was wrong so what you did was you shouted
at the waiter. That now caused some of the customers to become pretty uncomfortable
and uneasy at the same time since, putting it in the “worst perspective”, you
might do something violent. Luckily you just request for the bill, pay for the
order (even though it was wrong) and storm off the place. If the opposite
happens then it would surely be a win-win situation, you get what you want, the
waiter would not get shouted at and the people around you will enjoy their
fantastic dinner with their company. Though this will not always be the case,
as such there are times that one side will have to sacrifice/suffer in order
for the other side to be “happy”, and at those times when one side suffers the
insensitiveness of the happy person usually becomes quite extreme to some
extent.

Which is which again?
There
are some things on this earth that you never know that it could make you happy.
For example finish reading a book that has been in your shelf for around 5
years, eating breakfast around noon time (though that is not very healthy), playing
games while half asleep, jotting down notes while thinking of what to eat later
and all sorts of things. Though what is it that really makes us happy? Is it
how we do it or what we do? Maybe it could be something unexplainable. It’s
just a maybe…
Well we
usually do things that could make us happy provided that we were not forced to
do it since that would typically result into us (the doer of the action) being pissed.

Money and the other choices we make (Entry essay)
Often we
see people that are rushing and unmindful of their surroundings, even I am
guilty of such thing. We can’t blame them since they need to go their
respective jobs and earn for themselves, family, relatives and the like. Though
if you think about it, with each passing day they are becoming slaves of the
jobs they have. Sure practicality must be one of the priorities but, is money
or wealth really everything? Should it be the center of attention always that we
become very unmindful of the little and big actions we do? With the kind of
world that people are living in today majority would say yes to the
aforementioned questions. Though the minority is usually, if not always,
present in situations like these and they will beg to differ.
Every time
individuals are in a school, university, talks, or seminars they are usually
reminded that they should get a job that has a high pay (salary) and you (the
individual) like as well. Even parents would say to their children “Son go work
abroad and you will surely find your fortune there.” The society already dictates
on what course of action what an individual should take and it is pretty hard
for them not to follow what the majority does. Even if they try to object the
many, at least two would be standing in their way saying “No, what are you
doing? Go back and go with them, this is also for your own good.” Now one has
to ask “Is it really for my own good or am I just looking what is in front of
me and not what is ahead of me?” There are still several reasons for
individuals to say “no” and go against the majority.
First is
that it can strengthen the principles that you live by. Often we hear stories
that they did such action because it is what the majority did and what the
majority believes in. Well if individuals are always going to bend what most would
say then they are not living their lives properly instead the majority is
controlling your lives and the majority is even living the very lives of the
individuals. Second saying no to the majority will probably ignite the thoughts
of others and make them question of what they’re (the majority) doing is right
and most likely it is not. For example, it is true that a big percentage would
want to be owners rather than be workers and live a more comfortable and
luxurious life. Though why not work for the benefit of others instead of
yourself only? Now the consequence of going against the many appears and that
is sacrifice or self-sacrifice. Sacrifice is still present on the other side
but when an individual chooses to be the one in the million, and then surely
greater sacrifices and self-sacrifices will come his way. One concrete example
of such is exposing the illegal transactions or corruption in general, that is
happening in your workplace. The individual risks losing his job and even the
risk of exposing his personal information. Aside from that having no steady
income would entail multiple risks and problems may it be personal, financial or
both.
At the
end of the day money still seems to prove its worth and “power” over
individuals though it is not everything. There are still a lot of more
prominent and dominant “things” that are present, one of which is choice. If the
choice requires an individual to go against the many do not be too afraid to do
so but always remember to evaluate the choice that you are about to make. Think
first of the consequences it entails and the benefits that the choice has/have.
Remember that there is something that is more powerful than the other and one
of them is choice.
